JULY 19, 2008  The July meeting was supposed to be held at teh Willoughby Brewing Company, but due to unforseen issues, we changed the location to The Winking Lizard.  There we sampled a variety of different beer from their beer tour.  We talked about our business/member cards, adn there is one small change to be made before they are issued to members.  The logo on the business card was also on a T-shirt and those can be reproduced with the completed logo.  The tour of the Brewing Company will be re-scheduled.  Hope to see you at our next meeting!

JUNE 7, 2008     The June meeting was a great time.  We had two new attendees.  They got to brew the Porter provided by Chad.  We discussed future direction of club activiteis and it was decided that we should take a couple of field trips to various breweries in our local area.  Dan came up with a prototype for our business cards and shirts.  All in all the meeting went very well.  Hope to see you at the next meeting on July 19th 2008 at 2:00pm Willoughby Brewing Company tour.

MAY 3, 2008     The May meeting went very well.  Everybody chipped in and we were able to get the Stout bottled and an Amber Ale started.  We also were able to begin designing a membership/business card.  The membership card will be laminated and the business card will be the same, but can be passed out to anyone interested in our club.  Thank You to Dan for bringing the laptop so we could make that happen.  Hopefully we will have the results at the June meeting.  Happy Brewing!!

APRIL 12, 2008      The April meeting was a new experience as we both bottled a Pilsner and started a brew of a Stout.  It proved to be a wonderful time once again.  A special thanks goes out to Draftsman Brewing Company for assiting us with yeast.  I turned out the kit we had did not have a yeast packet in it, so we sealed up the batch until Sunday morning and Draftsman Brewing came to our rescue.

MARCH 8, 2008     The March meeting was great as we were able to taste our fist group brew of the English Ale.  The ale was a fine first brew for those who had never tried brewing before.  Each person who was at the meeting took home a portion of the brew.

FEBRUARY 2, 2008     The February meeting was a good time again.  Those who attended were very helpful with the sanitizing and filling of two and a half cases of English Ale that we started in January.

JANUARY 12, 2008     The January meeting was a great deal of fun. We started a batch of English Ale.  We used a "John Bull" kit and brewed in the most simple of forms.
